As a fully qualified Management Accountant, you will act as the local lead working closely with the in-house finance team and Group finance (UK based) to ensure that all financial transactions, processes, and reporting is completed in a timely and accurate manner in line with both industry and internal standards and best practice.  You will also be managing a team of 4.


This is a part-time role for 25-30 hours a week with a work pattern split over a minimum of 4 days and including at least 2 full days.


Key Duties will include –

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Reconciliation of Balance Sheets, Bank Accounts
  • Cash flow forecasting & reporting (including FX)
  • VAT, VIES & statutory returns
  • Local liaison for year-end audits
  • Management of Account Receivable & Account Processing teams
  • Close collaboration with Group Finance to implement Group best practice on a local level
  • Support Managing Director with creation of annual overhead budgets and projections
  • Other finance projects and requirements as they arise


Required Skills

  • Ability to multi-task and support competing needs of the various business functions
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Comfortable working in both an SME and Corporate/Group environment
  • Demonstrated experience of implementing and monitoring internal controls and process improvements
  • A driven, self-motivated individual, who can work independently


Career Experience

  • Candidates must have their accountancy qualifications completed
  • 2-3 years of experience post qualification in a similar role is essential. Experience in the FMCG wholesale, distribution, retail or manufacturing sectors is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience of using finance software packages is essential, SAP Business One experience is a distinct advantage.
  • Experience of managing and developing a team.



  • Qualified member of a recognised accountancy body is essential.
